MetaScan Health Analysis

MetaScan is an in clinic health assessment that is performed in person using the Quadscan a TGA registered medical device. The Quadscan measures four different electrical frequencies during a Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis or BIA for short.

What is Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA)?

BIA is a science that has been used for monitoring the health of patients in hospital and research settings since the 1980s. It’s based on the ability of the body to act as a conductor.

Testing is complete in a matter of minutes and is painless. Leads are connected to your hands and feet, and low voltage electrical currents are passed through one side of your body. This provides various measurements that are used by a computer program to give insight into important aspects of your health.

Metascan helps to monitor:

  • Cellular health
  • Fluid distribution
  • Body composition
  • Energy levels
  • Inflammation

MetaScan Bioimpedance Analysis with the Quadscan is included in all naturopathic consultations and is an integral part of the Metabolic Balance® Program.

You will receive a report of findings that allows you to monitor your progress, helping you to achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
